The device achieves stable, low-noise single unit recordings by digitizing the signals on board. Onboard Digitization

An on-board ASIC chip digitizes and filters signals close to the electrode, dramatically reducing noise and enhancing signal clarity.

Lightweight and Compact

Designed for patient comfort, the Dixi Headstage weighs only 1oz and fits unobtrusively under headwraps for extended use in sub-chronic studies.

Seamless System Integration

Acquires and transmits microelectrode data to the NeuroPort Biopotential Signal Processing System, enabling streamlined online data analysis and closed-loop experiments.

Investigational Use

ISO-13485 and IEC 60601 Compliant, NeuroSnap is ready for clinical research in IRB/IDE approved protocols.

Supported Electrodes and Connectors

Each NeuroSnap D records from up to four DIXI Microdeep® Micro-Macro Depth Electrodes.

A Lightweight and Durable Design

Engineered for sub-chronic and acute recording, our NeuroSnap headstages combine a lightweight profile with robust construction. Weighing just 1.9 oz (53.86g), 75% lighter than Cabrio 16-channel adapters, it fits unobtrusively under the patient’s headwrap and ensures maximum comfort during extended clinical use. Its compact design does not compromise on resilience however, ensuring reliable performance during severe seizures. 

Digital Precision in Neural Signal Transmission

On-board signal digitization allows transmission of up to 48 channels of high resolution data over a single, thin cable. Cable length no longer affects signal quality. 

Impedance Measurement

The NeuroSnap headstages measure micro-electrode impedances, covering a range 5kOhm – 1MOhm. This capability allows measurement and assessment of electrode quality and status over the course of the implant.

For seamless data management and extended research capabilities, the NeuroSnap D Headstage and NeuroSnap Bridge connect to the NeuroPort Biopotential Signal Processing System, bringing together high fidelity single unit data, macro-electrode data from diagnostic electrodes and powerful online, real time, closed loop control.
