The CerePlex M records distortion-free spikes and field potentials from high impedance microelectrodes with the flexibility and configurability for a variety of preparations such as freely moving rodents.
The small form factor of the CerePlex M provides a lightweight platform for neural recording in all configurations.
The CerePlex M, with Blackrock’s customized Honey Badger ASIC Chip, provides 7x higher resolution* to record high-fidelity transmission of extracellular spikes and local field potentials.

The CerePlex M features flexible ribbon cables allowing you to bend connectors in multiple configurations. Not only does this provide scalability of channels up to 128 but gives researchers the ability to record with different spatial configurations.
With a flip of a switch, the CerePlex M allows researchers to test electrode impedance while in the brain to monitor electrode tip condition. This helps researchers troubleshoot the quality and integrity of the electrode.
