Features

About the System

The CereStim R96 is a fully programmable, current-controlled, Neuro-Stimulator with 96 output channels and the capability of producing up to 16 simultaneous stimuli. The biphasic current pulses generated by the CereStim R96 are intended to stimulate the neurons in proximity to a set of either implanted micro electrodes or surface contacting macro electrodes depending on configuration.

The CereStim R96 in the macrostimulator configuration can generate up to 16 simultaenous stimuli from 100 microamps to 10 milliamps with adjustment in 100 microamp increments. Each stimulus can be directed to any one of the 96 electrode connections on the CereStim. The CereStim R96 macrostimulator is intended to be used with electrode grids or strips having an impedance of less than <1kOhm.

Premiere Isolation & Shielding

The CereStim stimulates on a shielded and isolated circuit up to 96 channels when using the Y-Adapter to virtually eliminate noise during stimulation.
